УСЛУГИ

Our qualified staff and sophisticated design and process tools enable us to provide a wide range of services related to fired heaters (FHs).
Thanks to our extensive and long-lasting experience, we can provide all those services and activities aimed to improve and optimize performance and reliability; reduce energy consumptions and emissions; expand operators’ competencies, thus increasing the equipment’s overall safety.

We can also provide the following full assessments of existing FHs in operating plants:

  • Heaters’ performance verification: comprehensive assessments of existing FHs to check their operating performances and identify possible upgrades to regain the original design’s conditions. This is generally carried out through site visits to collect data; assess physical conditions and identify possible areas of concern; conduct process simulations and feasibility evaluations with software models, and identify possible upgrades.
  • Training for heaters’ operators and maintenance personnel: to cover aspects such as heaters’ control and operation, safety, burners’ regulation, inspections, etc. It is provided both in-person and online and always includes the presentation of selected case studies illustrating activities carried out in our projects.
  • Heaters’ inspection and testing: preparation of detailed inspection plans for heater’s packages (including, but not limited to: pressure parts, refractory, burners, instruments, fans, fuel train), as well as witnessing of inspections and assistance in follow-up activities.
  • Assessment of heaters’ automation and instrumentation: we check out existing heaters packages’ instruments, fuel skids, and UCP, BMS, or DCS to assess their overall safety and/or to verify their compliance with API 556, NFPA, or any other applicable codes and standards.
  • Revamping studies for existing heaters: based on the Client’s needs, we can suggest revamping activities for process optimization, efficiency increase, and emissions reduction. The most common revamping solutions proposed include the installation of a combustion air preheating unit (APH); the new design of a convection section; or the installation of high-performing burners.
