In May 2016, Vergaengineering attended with its stand to the International Iran Oil Show in Tehran, Iran. The exhibition is one of the most significant oil and gas events in the world and this 2016 edition had a particular importance with the recent end of the sanctions. Vergaengineering has been awarded in February 2016 for the supply of a Regeneration Gas Heater for a refinery in United Kingdom.

The new revised edition of API Standard 560, Fired Heaters for General Refinery Services, Fifth Edition, has been published.

Vergaengineering has successfully completed a project for API Refinery related to the supply and erection of a new Fired Heater and the connection with an existing Fired Heater.

Vergaengineering has organized an internal training course on the following topic: burners safe operation and trouble-shouting. The course was based on ample use of case studies, lessons learned and with a special emphasis on safety issues.

Vergaengineering has organized an internal training course on the following topic: examination of welds in Fired Heaters coils. The course covered reference normative, defects, recommendations and acceptance criteria, with particular focus on visual inspection.

In November 2015, Vergaengineering has attended to the International Petroleum Exhibition in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Vergaengineering is proud to announce that has recently developed a proprietary software VEDYNSIM®2015 which is able to simulate the dynamic transient conditions of a Fired Heater and that can predict the dynamic response of any Fired Heater to cyclic operation.
